No matter what season, your pet should always be fully groomed. Never allow your pet to go ungroomed or uncleaned. Animals get dry skin just like humans do thru the winter. Also, regular grooming will allow your pet to become comfortable with the grooming process. For example, it takes some time for a dog to trust a groomer or owner to put clippers or scissors next their face. So your pet should be groomed at least 8 to 10 weeks, for cleanliness and trust building. Also, outside dogs also need to be groomed thru the winter.
